Hello, We are Southern Charm.

Located in the small(ish) beach town of Wilmington, North Carolina, we are a home based, ethical breeding program that has been in business since 2009. Our goal is to maintain the integrity, longevity, and generational health of the breeds we raise. Our animals are our pets, friends, and members of our family above all else.

From the calming presence of the regal shih-tzu, to the rambunctious but gentle nature of the miniature bernedoodle, and the energetic, easily attached, intelligent shih-poo, we have something to offer every family, sometimes exactly what they didn’t know they needed.
